Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse in the Clinic is accountable for providing high quality professional care in their scope of practice to patients and families under the supervision of a provider.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required
- Clinic experience preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Upon hire
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota
- Within 30 days of hire
- Basic Life Support
- Within six months of hire (or first available course)
- If working in In-reach or Internal Medicine Clinic where stress tests are performed:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- If working in Memory Care Clinic
- Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA)
- If working in In-reach or Internal Medicine Clinic where stress tests are performed:
- Within six months of hire (or first available course) if working in Occupational Medicine Clinic:
- Federal Drug Screens (Escreen and Profile drug tests, to independently administer to patients)
- Breath Alcohol Tests (to independently administer to patients)
- Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (COAHC, audiology)
- National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (pulmonary function tests)
Work Schedule
- Hours: Varied 8-hour day shifts; PRN (as needed)
